About Academy Wear

We are a new shop, set up by 'old hands' in the business.

We saw a need for good quality traditional school and maid uniform in larger sizes, at reasonable prices, available for anyone who wants it.

The principals in the business have nearly half a century of experience selling schoolwear.

We know the suppliers in the UK and world-wide who can offer the quality and value that you seek.

Some of you may recall a business with a similar, but differently spelled, name: Acadamy Wear , (also known as Classics (Mail Order) Ltd), who operated in the Northwest of England in the 1990s. We have no direct connection with them.

We do however, acknowledge them as old friends and sometime colleagues, whose work we admire and we are proud to follow in their footsteps.

Formally we trade as Academy Incorporated Limited and are Registered in England and Wales as company No. 05153918.

Our registered company address is The Old Police Station, Market Hall Street, Kington, Hereford, Herefordshire, HR5 3DP.

However, please do not return goods or send correspondence there, as it is simply the address of our accountant.
